Air freight is the fastest way to move goods over long distances. It suits cargo that is urgent, valuable, perishable or simply needs to arrive on a precise date.
Cargo Express organises the air transport of your goods from booking to arrival: we prepare the transport documents, make sure the cargo is ready for acceptance by the airline and coordinate with the parties involved at origin and destination.
Because air capacity, routings and rates change frequently, every shipment is quoted individually according to the weight, volume and nature of your goods.

Questions about this service
How is the price of an air shipment calculated?
Airlines charge on the “chargeable weight”: the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight of the cargo. The volumetric weight is commonly calculated by dividing the volume in cubic centimetres by 6,000. Accurate dimensions therefore help us give you an accurate quotation.
Can all goods travel by air?
No. Some goods are restricted or prohibited on aircraft, and dangerous goods — including many lithium batteries, aerosols and flammable liquids — must be declared and packed according to the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Tell us exactly what you are shipping so we can check it before booking.
How long does air freight take?
It depends on the route, the flight availability and the customs formalities at both ends. We give you the expected schedule in the quotation and record each actual movement in the tracking.
